  2. Add the stock and bring to a boil. reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes. 3. Remove the bay leaf and add the peas. Simmer for 5 more minutes or until peas are cooked through. 4. remove from heat and let cool slightly. Puree in batches in a blender or food processor until smooth. 5 return soup to pot and stir in cream . Season with salt and pepper to taste . Heat through . Serve hot .
